The Feather Giants/Red Etin

From the top:
The Feather Giants (looming, lanky offworlders who live in my head)
Red Etin (obscure tri-headed ne'er-do-well from Scottish folklore)

Digital inking (on the left) from loose analogue sketches (on the right). I spent ages trying out different techniques on these two and, feeling quite confident and robust for having done so, am launching straight into some new 'uns...

These are great, what are they for? Lovely old fashioned illustration style.

Just read your DFC pitch as well. Nice idea, bit like the Numbskulls, something I always adored. Looks like it would have been one of the more original strips in the DFC. I was always too busy to get very far with my own DFC pitches. Damn shame that it folded, but not entirely surprising.

Cheers Rob. They're humble portfolio pieces for my agent to show around - the next lot should come out a bit more "new fangled" in feel, so as to keep things varied...

Numbskulls gets metioned a lot! I keep thinking I never read it, but can't help thinking I must have done at some point.

The DFC was always going to have trouble in a recession. Dark days indeed for long term business ventures.
