Sketches and finished drawings produced for Templar Publishing as part of a dummy presentation which went to Bologna earlier this year.You're walking a fine line when creating creatures of the night for a young audience. Scary is fine, but your beasties have to be approachably scary. My usual approach to zombies being "the more decayed and rancid the better", it took a fair few pages to work the more hideous notions out of my system and reach a (hopefully) more kid-friendly look.
Hindsight Alert: I really wish I'd drawn those social zombies with cups of tea and saucers... darn!
